Victor Vasarely: Spatial Illusions in Three Dimensions

12 February 2020

Victor Vasarely was the ‘father’ of the Op-Art or Kinetic Art movement.

Born in Hungary but based in Paris from the 1950’s he became the central and driving figure, with his dealer Denise René, of the art movement which used geometric forms and juxtapositions of colour to create the illusion of spatial construction and movement to change the whole concept of art imagery.
