Lithograph in colours. 1963. Signed with the monogram and dated ’63 in the stone. Commissioned by the Commune de Felletin, Limousin France and issued as a poster for the 1963 exhibition of tapestries by Le Corbusier at ‘l’Église du Château-Felletin-Creuse’. Drawn and printed at the Atelier Mourlot, Paris 1963.
Note: Felletin is the location of Atelier Pinton, where many of the 32 tapestries which made up the exhibition were woven.
Provenance: Mourlot Estate Archive with their stamp on the reverse and a certificate of provenance.
Excellent impression with very fresh colours. On smooth pale cream wove poster paper. Sheet: 746 x 489mm.
