This impression from the separate edition issued in the same year with Le Livre d'Art Internationale, Arts et Metiers Graphiques, Paris 1931. Edition size not known. Rare.

Note: The frottage/photogram prints that Ernst created to accompany an issue of the Rene Crevel short story 'Babylon' in 1931 are amongst his most creative Surrealist period works in printmaking. The album was issued in an edition of 200 but it is not known how many impressions of this image were issued in the separate edition for Le Livre d'Art Internationale
