Original linocut. 1943/44. Cut and proofed by Matisse in 1944. Stamped with the artist’s HM blindstamp. Numbered in pencil from the edition of 100 (plus 25 – XXV – proofs). Edition printed and issued by the Matisse Heirs in 1981. Lino blocks cancelled after the edition. Printed at the Atelier Fequet et Baudier, Paris.
