Lithograph in colours. 1955. Commissioned by the ‘Musee des Arts Decoratifs’, Paris and issued as a poster for their 1955 exhibition ‘Exposition Picasso’. From the edition of 500 impressions - very few examples survive in fine condition. Drawn and printed at the Atelier Mourlot, Paris 1955.
Note: This composition is derived from the oil painting ‘Buste de Femme au Chapeau Bleu’ painted by Picasso in 1944
Provenance: Mourlot Estate Archive with their stamp on the reverse and a certificate of provenance.
