Original lithograph in colours. 1957. Signed in pencil. Also inscribed in pencil as ' Epreuve de Collaborateur - Collaborators Proof'.  One of just two such first impressions recorded. This annotation refers to the fact that it is from the collection of Charles Sorlier - the master printer at the Atelier Mourlot, Also Sorlier's annotation and pencil signature on the reverse. Special proof before the issued edition. Issued edition of 75 hand-printed and hand-signed and on large format paper. Drawn and printed at the Atelier Mourlot, Paris 1957.

Superb impression with brilliant colours. On pale cream Arches paper. In perfect condition (never previously famed). Full margins, Sheet: 36 x 36.2 cm.

Note: This image was very greatly admired when Chagall drew it in 1957. As a result there was also an unsigned edition with the image slightly trimmed and no margins for the ' Revue XXe Siele'
