Provenance: Jean Cocteau Estate. Inherited by Édouard Dermit (who inherited the whole contents of Cocteau's studio). Purchased from Dermit by American private collector. To William Weston Gallery from that collector.

Very strong large scale drawing. On pale cream wove slightly textured drawing paper. Generally excellent condition and; a flattened horizontal fold, visible only in a raking light. Sheet: 656 x 503mm. Image: 540 x 305mm.
