Provenance: Jean Cocteau Estate. Inherited by Édouard Dermitte (who inherited the whole contents of Cocteau's studio). Purchased from Dermitte by American private collector. To William Weston Gallery from that collector.

Note: The monogram Estate Stamp was put on all paperworks found in Cocteau's studio at the time of his death.
