Note: During the late 1960's and early 1970's Calder spent long periods in Paris and Galerie Maeght staged almost annual shows both in Paris at the Fondation Maeght in St Paul de Vence. The Maeght print studio - Editions Maeght - with its large scale presses was also a favourite atelier for Calder's work in lithography.

Note re edition: A version of this lithograph, with a printed signature and date, was also issued as an exhibition poster. It was created by a transfer from this original hand-drawn lithograph and printed at the Clot Bramsen studio in Paris.
